Color Line Project
The Color Line Project (CLP) convened artists, educators and activists, and helped them strengthen their understanding of each other and their heritage and community through the established storytelling methodology called the story circle. In particular, The Color Line Project encourages people who participated in or were deeply affected by the civil rights movement to tell their stories. The Color Line Project visited numerous communities over eight years. In each community, the CLP team conducted story-collecting and performance. Local community artists, educators and organizers joined the Junebug team in community story-collecting and in the resulting artistic and educational projects and productions.
